REVIEW: Twenty-six-year-old Odysseus Hood has been crushing on his best friend's older sister, Indigo Monroe, since he was in high school. At forty, she’s fourteen years older but that doesn't matter to him. Indigo is a single Mom and runs a successful boutique. She’s experienced disappointments with relationships and has pretty much given up to them to focus on the success of her business.
Thanks to losing to his uncle in a poker game, Odysseus has become the errand boy. This puts the wheels in motion for him to connect with Indigo in ways he’d never imagined. She is in his grasp, and the stars align for Odysseus and Indigo to share some special moments. She gets quite a surprise! Odysseus is able to show Indigo about one of the “Fs” that the Hoods are known for, in the most sensual way. It's one night neither of them will forget.
Four years go by, but Odysseus is a patient man. He can connect with Indigo, not just through her body, but also her mind and soul to “make her confess” about how she’s feeling and her insecurities. He’s very good at multi-tasking! Indigo finally lets go and age difference or not, these two are meant to be together.
This short story has a lot of heat. Anytime Black Lush is involved, things are bound to get naughty. Ms. Green continues to show her creativity with the catchy chapter titles. It was good to get brief updates on characters, we’ve come to know, from prior books. As far as side characters, Indigo’s mom is hilarious. Her daughter is cute and has caught the eye of someone in the next Hood generation. MAKE ME CONFESS is a great, quick read and I highly recommend it.
