SYNOPSIS:  With all of her responsibilities, Ayanna Walker hasn't had time for romance--until now. While Johnny Phillips wants to share the future with Ayanna, she's thinking it's only a hot summer fling. Can a man planning forever and a woman planning the moment find the right time for love?

SERIES ROMANCE |4| Keren Childers

REVIEW: Ayanna Walker’s personal life has been put on the back burner due to the death of her sister and the decision to raise her two nephews. Besides work and raising them, she hasn’t dated much and is completely caught off guard by her best friend’s brother, Johnny Phillips. Will she throw caution to the wind and bring out that passionate side of hers or will she continue to keep it hidden?

With
A CASE FOR ROMANCE, Ms. Schuster brings two extraordinary people to the brink of some hot, steamy romance. Ayanna is the ordinary woman who works hard for her money and budgets well so she can take care of her nephews. She’s an attractive, smart woman with some dynamite skills. I found Ayanna to be a woman who stays focused, sometimes too much. She seems to take care of everyone else, but neglects herself. When somebody finally gives her the time of day, she has a hard time handling it. I enjoyed her character immensely.

Johnny Phillips is an easy going guy that has some exquisite attributes. The man is gorgeous, well established and is a bit of a flirt that speaks his mind. This is definitely a man after a woman’s heart. He knows women flock to him, but he lets them down easy. Neither is prepared for this love triangle and that’s what makes the story so real.

The pace of the story is well done. The setting where they vacationed, in parts of the Carolinas, was breathtaking and so romantic. The love scenes are hot and steamy; you might want to take notes. The secondary characters give the story a vibrant family atmosphere that brings unconditional love to the table. This is a very good book and I was able to read it in a day.

Bravo, Ms. Schuster on a job well done. I definitely recommend this
A CASE FOR ROMANCE.
