REVIEW:  Kimberly White has done it again with an action packed romance novel in ALL THE WAY. Payton Vaughn is on the run for her life after witnessing her boss order a murder when she stumbles into the path of investigative reporter Adriano Norwood. Adriano can’t believe his luck when he discovers Payton Vaughn is the eyewitness to the story he is working on to put away drug lord Sherman Grazicky. Adriano is a little reluctant to get involved with Payton after being chased by thugs and having his life endangered several times in one night. Together they are trying to stay alive and solve the mysteries surrounding Sherman Grazicky.

Kimberly White keeps you in suspense with this action thriller. The story is well developed and filled with constant action; you can’t wait to find out how Payton and Adriano are going to get out of another jam.

Payton has the tough girl appearance on the outside, but is really a sensitive woman. She can think quickly on her feet and isn’t afraid to stand up for what she believes in even, if her life is in danger. Payton is determined to protect her loved ones-- even if it means she must sacrifice herself. Adriano appears to be all male with his large frame, but he has a warm heart. He never expects to fall in love, least of all with a woman who tried to kidnap him. He is determined to protect Payton even if it means sacrificing his happiness for what he thinks is hers. Their friends and family really help to shoe how much love and support others provide for us especially-- in our time of need. The other characters in the book are developed well, helping to show how quickly our lives, and those of our family and friends, can change just by witnessing an event.

The story takes place in Charlotte, North Carolina. The setting changes as the couple runs for their safety. The small towns throughout North and South Carolina helps the plot unfold by allowing us to see how the couple is able to seek shelter from those seeking to do them harm. The dialogue is fundamental to the story. You’re able to visualize the differences between the characters and their backgrounds. The continuous flow of dialogue helps the story to move along at a steady pace.

ALL THE WAY is an excellent novel. You will not be able to put it down. Kimberly White has added just the right amount of action, suspense and romance to keep you turning pages late into the night. I recommend you read this novel where there is nothing available to interrupt you.
