REVIEW: Simone
Ladner put her dreams being owner and Chef of her own restaurant on hold
and moved back to the Biloxi to help her family rebuild after Hurricane
Katrina. While laying shingles on a roof, she meets the very handsome
and charismatic Keithen Knight. Simone is promptly rendered speechless
with her first glance into his gorgeous green eyes; likewise Keithen is
instantly drawn to her deep brown eyes and warm smile. Keithen is a very
wealthy land developer that has come to the Gulf Coast as a volunteer.
After seeing the level of destruction left by the Katrina, he wanted to
give more than a donation to help the people displaced get back into
their homes. The sparks fly between these two, and as Keithen and Simone
get to know each other better, they fall deep in love. But will their
love be able to withstand the opposition they receive because of the
obvious differences in their race and social status? reviewer@romanceincolor.com | 1st January 2008
