PLOT SYNOPSIS:

REVIEW:

After a short absence, one of Genesis Press’ most popular authors return with a new release which is as good as anything she has written.  Darren and Lesley have a past.   Years ago they were to be married before the wedding, designed from the Darren company are stolen.  Evidence points to Lesley whose family owns a rival company.  Hurt that her intended does not love her enough to believe in her innocence, Lesley leaves Philadelphia.  Darren, however, is convinced that one day he will make her pay for her betrayal.

Five years later, Lesley finds out that the firm that she is working for has been sold.  She discovers that Darren, intent on revenge, has done all in his power to make sure that he can control her professional life.  Despite his cruelty, Lesley realizes that she still loves the man whose child she has born.

As time goes by Darren realizes that Lesley could be innocent.  He does find out that he still loves her and when he discovers that he has a daughter, he is overjoyed.  With this, a cautious relationship develops, and slowly they begin to trust each other again.  Eventually, the real culprit is discovered and Darren and Lesley are allowed their happy-ever-after.

BOUND BY LOVE on the surface has a almost cliché soap-opera plot, but because of the talented writer Ms. Clark is, the story is a character study of two individuals who have been hurt and need to learn to trust again.  A wonderful menagerie of secondary characters, and the adorable, Dara Ann, makes this book one to be remembered.

Ms. Clarke continues to prove that she is one of Genesis best.
