REVIEW: Gabrielle "Gabby" Dutton has accepted that her love for her boss Maxwell Bennett will never be returned. Living on her
nightly erotic almost real dreams of Maxwell making passionate love and declaring his love for her Gabby is content with the status quo. At
least until Maxwell hires beautiful Penelope Tillman as his business manager. Penelope from their first meeting let it be known that she will
have Maxwell and get Gabby out. As Penelope does everything to undermine her and win Maxwell, Gabby decides it's time to get her man or lose
him forever.
Niobia Bryant's, CAN'T GET NEXT TO YOU, is a fun, laugh out loud, energizing romance between two characters that are a perfect match
for each other. Despite her insecurities in her beauty, Gabrielle "Gabby" Dutton is a quirky, funny and lively. Maxwell Bennett starts out as
a self-absorbed playboy however, he changes to revel a caring and tender man. The interaction between her and Maxwell pops with such fire you
can see the chemistry sizzle.
The minor character’s Addie, the irresistible housekeeper who is more like family, April know as Ape - Gabby's sister who pushes her to get
her man, and Clayton the gay fashion guru add so much to this story. The interaction between Gabby and Addie as they joined against Penelope
was hilarious and heartwarming. April was a live wire and a nice contrast to Gabby's steady personality. Clayton’s transformation of Gabby was
hilarious.
CAN'T GET NEXT TO YOU flows with such naturalness it is like actually experiencing it for yourself. I laughed, hoped and cheered for
Gabby as she escaped from her cocoon. Ms. Bryant takes readers through such an enjoyable ride with the romance of Gabby and Maxwell I was
surprised and disappointed when it ended.
With CAN'T GET NEXT TO YOU, Niobia Bryant has as usual provided a vibrant one sitting read that makes you want more.
