PLOT SYNOPSIS:

REVIEW:

Marita Sommers is an attractive attorney who has it all together. However, things aren’t always what they seem. There’s a little something something lying just beneath the surface and it will take a special someone to bring it out.

Enter Shemar Dalton, the sexy psychologist who has all the right stuff to make that happen. Childhood friends, they drifted apart to live their respective lives and to make names for themselves in their careers. However as fate would have it, they meet again and it’s on from there.

They wind up sharing a townhouse during a summer vacation in Bermuda. Things don’t go so well at first because Marita realizes that she has feelings for him and she does her best to fight them. Years earlier, Marita found herself in a middle of a crime and an intoxicating romance that nearly tore her life apart. She promised herself that she would never allow herself to fall in love again.

However, never flies right out of the proverbial window after a while because she and Shemar can’t help themselves. The inevitable happens and they fall madly in love with each other.

DANGEROUS PASSIONS is a wonderful novel and will keep readers up all night long because once they begin reading, they’ll have to finish it right away. This is a tale of romantic suspense that moves quickly and takes readers on a whirlwind journey of passion, intrigue and romance, as it has never been written about before. Bussey’s characters spring to life and are crafted universally and fully. Her characters are akin to people we know, work with and love or hate. Her characters transcend race and class, as any good ones should do. Anyone can relate to them at any time. The plot was obviously well thought out because every element falls into place at its proper time. Nothing happens before it should. Overall, Dangerous Passions is a great book that purist romance fans will love. The only other thing that this reviewer can say is to buy your copy today, take a mental health day and go down to the beach and get your read on! Nothing should make you stop reading this book except if Shemar or a hottie equally as fine wants your attention. Check him out and get back to reading as soon as you can!
