REVIEW:  When it comes to men, model Tia St. Claire wants no strings, just flings. But Navy Seal Trent Donovan stirs defiant longings she can't deny.

Ms. Arthur continues to enlighten us with the Triple Threat Donovan brothers who never disappointing us with their stories.  Trent Donovan is the last of the three to get bit with the love bug.  He’s the arrogant playa who loves them and leaves them; that is until he meets his match with Tia St. Claire.  Is the saying what goes around comes around something Trent can relate too?

In Defying Desire, two fascinating characters entertain you throughout the story. Tia is a model with some deep, dark secrets.  She’s unapproachable and wants to keep it that way.  I found her to be a strong-willed woman that needed some guidance.  Trent is this fine, sexy and persistent brotha that sees something he likes and goes after it.  If he wants to know something; he will find out with or without your permission.  He definitely has his hands full with Tia.  She’s not one who takes being bossed around lightly. I enjoyed both characters tremendously.  They brought excitement, fire and sexual tension to the story. It was hard to put this book down.

The plot is exhilarating. It’s full of twists and turns, giving the story a mystery/ romance vibe.  The secondary characters, the Donovan family and in-laws give the story that unconditional love and rivalry that it needed.

Bravo, Ms. Arthur on a job well done.  This is definitely a must read.  I recommend reading all three books in this order: Love Me Like No Other, A Cinderella Affair and Defying Desire
