PLOT SYNOPSIS:

REVIEW:

Canadian Author Kayla Perrin, in EVERLASTING LOVE, lives up to the promise of her early 1998 debut, AGAIN, MY LOVE.

Two years before the story begins, Whitney Jordan is involved in a tragic
accident in which her small step-son dies. Consequently, her relationship with her husband, Javar, deteriorates and they separate. When Whitney is involved in another accident on her way to ask Javar for a divorce., Javar runs to her side despite the disapproval of his wife's mother. When Whitney recovers, he is able to persuade her to stay at his home while she's recovering. Javar still loves his wife and wants nothing more that to be reconciled with her.

But the past comes back to haunt them. Someone is trying to kill Whitney--and the evidence points to Javar. Torn between the love she still has for her husband and the mounting evidence, Whitney is forced to make some serious choices.

EVERLASTING LOVE is a story of betrayal and trust, but it is also about the complexities of love--and the knowledge that sometimes the second time around can even be better.  With her sophomore project, Ms. Perrin has proven one again that she is a writer with talent and potential. The maturing of her writing is evident in EVERLASTING LOVE. She handles the suspense with the ease of a veteran and keeps the reader wondering; "Who is the villain?"

With her vivid characterization, a wonderful sense of place and nail-biting
suspense, Kayla Perrin is definitely a writer I will continue to watch with
interest!
