SYNOPSIS: Bestselling author Griggs presents a thrilling new novel filled with scandalous secrets, impossible choices, and supreme tests of faith, in this culmination of her superb Blessed Trinity series.

INSPIRATIONAL FICTION |4| Shawneda Marks

REVIEW:  Memory Patterson used to be cold hearted, selfish and conniving. Now saved after decades of living life on the run she returns to the home of the mother she didn’t know she had. Sarah Fleming has waited seventy years to meet the little girl taken from her at birth. Despite great discord between Memory and her grand and great-granddaughter, Sarah brings them all together to enjoy whatever time she has left and reunite her family.

Pastor Landris is a down to earth charismatic walking bible. Johnnie Mae is pregnant with the child they asked God to help them conceive. The ministry is still growing and things are looking up until they encounter the greatest challenge imaginable that requires Landris to draw on the faith in the word of God.

IF MEMORY SERVES shows Griggs' growth and progress in her journey as a writer. The characters and dialogue are believable though a bit long winded.  The plot offers enough twists and turns without being cliché or cheesy to keep you interested. The setting and description are used well in welcoming the reader into the characters' world. While not for people who dislike books where the bible is quoted with or without the scripture references, IF MEMORY SERVES book is enjoyable for most Christian fiction readers. The theme of change and faith reverberate throughout the book without being as preachy as previous works.
