REVIEW:
Amara Hart had it all, gorgeous looks, a
good job as a real estate agent, and a man she thought she knew. But
then her brother is hurt in a bad skiing accident, and her life starts
spiraling out of control. First, she finds out Terrence, her lover/boss,
is married and breaks up with him. Secondly, Terrence vows to get even.
Terrence Johnson is a wealthy real estate businessman that wants control
of everything, including his business and the women in his life. The
saying “by any means necessary” is his motto for everything. Bryce,
Terrence’s business partner and close friend, is the caring, passionate
one of the group. He also has a secret attraction for Amara. Together
the three tangle in a web of love, lust, lies and deceit.
Ms. Bussey never disappoints me with her stories, and this holds true
with KISS ME ALL OVER. Here she combines drama and lust that
connect to the story well. Amara is a passionate woman who fell for the
wrong guy. She hits rock bottom and finds herself in need of serious
help. She’s a caring person who just needs a break. Terrence is a true
playa and definitely has a dark side that is scary. Terrence nearly
destroys Amara financially; I guess if he couldn’t have her he made sure
no one else would either. But I didn’t quite understand his motives and
got a little confused.
Bryce meeting Amara in art class causes pandemonium to his libido. He
never expected to see her again; definitely not posing as a nude model.
The compromising situation just added more sparks to their attraction
for each other. I found myself rooting for Bryce throughout the story.
He is a man after my heart. He’s a successful businessman who’s smart,
caring and definitely eye candy. Bryce has the complete package that any
woman would want.
KISS ME ALL OVER is a page turner. The plot is a rollercoaster
ride that I enjoyed being on. The love scenes are explosive, sizzling,
and hot. The secondary characters gave the story the punch it needed.
Michelle, Terrence’s wealthy wife, has been in a mental institution
because of Terrence’s lies and deceit. Carlyn is an ex-employee of
Terrence’s and the roommate of Amara’s friend. To say she is a conniving
gold-digger would be an understatement. She uses her vindictive,
manipulative ways to get hers. Ms. Bussey did her thing in connecting
both the characters and plot into a rewarding novel.
Bravo, Ms. Bussey on a job well done. I definitely recommend reading
this book.
