REVIEW:  LOST IN A STALLION’S ARMS is the third installment in the Stallion series. Deborah Fletcher Mello weaves a tale of love with the baby brother Luke. Luke is the youngest of four boys, John, Matthew, and Mark. The Stallion brothers run Stallion Industries and are wealthy in their own right. Luke has now been given the opportunity to prove that he is ready to become a vice president in the company and head of his own division. As he goes to research his newest project, he meets Joanne Lake. Joanne is hiding from her past and loves to give to others les fortunate. Joanne must come clean with Luke about her past before it threatens to destroy his family and her future with him.

Luke is determined to prove to his brothers that he is ready for an executive role in the family business. When he becomes the head of the rejuvenation project, he sets out on a mission to explore the area and find out what the community needs. In his efforts to get to know the community members, Luke meets Joanne. Joanne hates when people with money throw it around as a substitute for giving back to the community instead of giving of themselves and their time. A big portion of this hate stems from how her father gives her things instead of his time and attention. As Luke and Joanne become close they find that they complete each other. There’s only one thing that stands in the way of them living happily ever after. The Stallions find themselves in the midst of a hostile takeover and Joanne’s father is the driving force behind it. Luke must decide if he can trust Joanne despite the secret she kept from him or if his loyalty is strictly to his family.

The supporting characters in this story add to the depth of the story line. The reader is reintroduced to the rest of the Stallions and how their lives are progressing. The dialogue is captivating. The setting of the story is Dallas. There are parts of the story that take place in Houston and Kiawah Island.

LOST IN A STALLION’S ARMS is a great romance novel. I would recommend that you read TO LOVE A STALLION and TAME A WILD STALLION first as they are the prequels to this novel. I can’t wait to read Matthews story.
