REVIEW:  Spa entrepreneur Jade Vincent is completely out of her element.  Sitting at a casino table, trying yet again to get her sister out of a jam, Jade finds that she is way over her head and facing a ghost from her past. Casino owner Lincoln Donovan, one of the Las Vegas Triple Threat Brothers, can’t believe his good fortune.  He hasn’t seen Jade for years since they parted ways under less than desirable circumstances.  Still unmistakably drawn to her, Lincoln can’t resist seizing an opportunity to spend more time with Jade. But now that he has her back in his life, he’s not so sure he can let her go.

When Jade last saw Lincoln, he’d left her with a bitter taste in her mouth.  After years of hard times, and reeling from a recent breakup, the last thing she wants is to encounter the likes of him.  But leave it to her sister to dig herself a hole big enough for Jade to fall into face first. When Lincoln makes her an offer she’s not sure she can refuse, these two embark on a journey of forgiveness and learning to trust not only their hearts, but each other as well.

A.C. Arthur has written a delightful story about rekindling a past love. The leads are both strong-willed and stubborn, which makes for an interesting pair.  Jade’s determination to rely only on herself is in direct conflict with Lincoln’s need to be in control.  This combination makes for a powerful attraction you can feel burning off of the page.

The author’s use of dialogue and description creates three dimensional characters, showing many sides to both Jade and Lincoln.  This allowed me to really get into their story and understand their struggles.  The plot moves forward at a nice pace as the author weaves in the supporting cast who add depth to the story.  All in all, this book is a must read, full of passion and energy.  *I am now waiting impatiently for the next installment of the “Triple Threat Brothers*
