REVIEW:
Detective Steed McGraw has been
working overtime since several of his co-worker’s quit the force leaving them
short-handed. His commanding officer tells him that he is in line for a
promotion, but the only way he can get it is if he can convince Darci Clarke
that the homicide ruling in the death of Kenneth Warrick is correct. Darci
Clarke is a well respected and thorough journalist intent upon getting answers
regarding the death of her best friend, even if it means making good on her
threat to do an expose’ on the Sterling Police Department. She shows up at the
station to speak with the Detective in charge of the case, because she is
positive that Kenneth would not kill himself. However, she never expected the
intense attraction that she and Det. McGraw would have to each other. When
Darci’s life almost comes to an end at the hands of a hit and run driver, Steed
