REVIEW:  Brenda Jackson consistently knocks them out the park and SENSUAL CONFESSIONS is another homerun. I got nothing but praises for Ms. Jackson and her latest installment of the Madaris Family.

Blade Madaris, like all Madaris men, swears to eternal bachelorhood yet there is something about Samari (Sam) Di Meglio that, despite all her rejection, he keeps going back for more.  Blade is determined to have her and is pulling out all the stops.  Sam becomes tired of fending of Blade and decides to teach him a lesson.  She toys with him, leading him on only to let him down right before he can consummate their relationship.  Blade is heated when Sam reveals this was her plan all along and he gives up pursuing her.  Sam has pulled this on other men before and someone is not taking the lesson graciously.  He’s determined to get back at Sam even attempting to take her life. Despite his original intentions to steer clear of Sam, Blade appoints himself her bodyguard.  As the family work to find the deranged man, Blade and Sam drop their defenses and really get to know each other. It turns out Blade is not so bad after all and Sam wants to finish what they started. Blade knew something was different about Sam from the beginning and now he finally realizes why. She’s the One! Blade’s final confession will be he’s in love with Sam but he might have a tough time winning over the beautiful and skeptical attorney.

SENSUAL CONFESSIONS is one interesting page after another. Blade, as with all Madaris men, is gorgeous and lethal. These men leap off the pages with Ms. Jackson’s magic touch and I would love to see them brought to life.  I think the blend of worldliness and innocence in Samari is refreshing.  Many characters from prior novels are also present and it is always great to catch up with old friends.

Oklahoma City Sam’s home but Blade temporary relocates there in his quest to win his lady love.   The dialogue is very modern and upbeat and goes a long way towards breathing life into the characters.  Blade and Sam’s verbal sparring is heated and equally entertaining just as the ribbing they receive from friends and family.  I sound like a broken record because I’ve got nothing but praises for Ms. Jackson.   If readers like consistency then stick with Ms. Jackson because her novels are consistently entertaining and will leave you anxious for the next one.
