REVIEW:  Carmen Green does a remarkable job creating SENSUAL WINDS the third and final novel in the Mother Nature Matchmaker series. Doreen Gamble is sent to Key West in the midst of Hurricane Ana by her boss to break up with her fiancé. As soon as Lucas McCoy spots Doreen at the airport he knows that all the plans he’s made for his future are over, when in fact his future is just beginning. In the midst of Hurricane Ana, Lucas and Doreen discover that all the conversations that they’ve had over the phone were really the foundation for their relationship. Carmen Green proves that you can find love in the middle of heartbreak.

Lucas is one determined man. Once he sets his sights on something he sees it through no matter what. That would explain why he is in Key West building a dream home for his fiancé – a fiancé that is in New York, one whom he hasn’t seen in eight months, and who hasn’t had the decency to talk to him in two weeks. He is fed up with the situation and relays the ultimatum through her assistant that if she doesn’t show up this weekend he will consider their relationship over. Doreen has fallen in love with her boss’ man. Who can blame her? After all she’s talked to the man five days a week for the past eight months and has helped him plan every detail in the house that he’s building for them. Now it is her job to get on a plane, fly to Key West and break up with him for her boss. As she becomes stranded in Florida, Lucas and Doreen realize how attracted and well suited they are and decide to embark on a relationship.

The supporting characters in this novel are an asset to the story. They offer advice to Lucas and Doreen and help them in their relationship. The dialogue in this story is stimulating and frequent. The setting of the story begins in New York but mainly takes place in Key West.

I would without a doubt recommend this novel. Carmen did an outstanding job of telling the story of Lucas and Doreen. I would advise that you read
TEMPERATURES RISING by Brenda Jackson and SULTRY STORM by Celeste O’ Norfleet first because they are the prelude to SENSUAL WINDS. I absolutely enjoyed this novel and this series.
