REVIEW:  Life is sweet for bakery owner Sophie Mayfield. She's saved her family business from a takeover, and hired the talented and sexy baker Eliot Wright. But after Sophie discovers Eliot isn't exactly who he says he is, he will have to do whatever it takes to win back her trust.

Ms. Overton introduces two fascinating characters that come from different sides of the track. Sophie grew up in a family that didn’t have a lot, but she had a remarkable grandmother who struggled to maintain a family business that Sophie learned to love, eventually taking it over to keep it in the family. Sophie is smart, attractive and has the knack to keep the family bakery afloat. She never dreamed of meeting Elliot Wright, who isn’t who he says he is. Elliot, by far is fine, polished, smart and knows his way around a woman. He knew when he first set eyes on her that the sparkle in her eyes was lust and he was determined to act on it. I can only wonder if a relationship built on secrets can survive a rollercoaster ride that will knock both of them off their feet.

The plot and characters in this story connect very well together. Some very interesting topics are introduced, such as identity fraud, mental challenges and business takeovers. Each character plays a significant role that brings twists and turns the story needed. Sophie and Elliot’s actions intrigue you throughout the story. Their love scenes are explosive and mind boggling. The secondary characters bring the unconditional love that only family and friends can, making the story that much believable. I can only say the ending had you wondering if there perhaps could be a sequel.

Ms Overton did an excellent job on the characters and plot and I commend her on a job well done. This is definitely a must read.
