REVIEW:  Chandra Eaton has a vivid imagination and she captures it in her journals. Imagine finding out she’s left her journal —containing very private, very erotic dreams she's been having for the past two years—in a Philly taxicab. Her embarrassment turns to intrigue when Preston Tucker finds and returns it. The soulful playwright fires up Chandra's body and her mind. An irresistible combination, until she starts to suspect that he's just using her for creative inspiration.

Ms. Alers introduces two complicated characters with some vivid imaginations. Chandra is definitely the black sheep of her family. Her family knows that she can be here one minute and the next she’s across the country finding herself. She’s a very attractive woman who admits now she’s ready to settle down, find a teaching job and make a home. She’s been hurt and plans to stay away from love. She’s strong-willed and I like that about her. Preston is a complicated man who has a dark side to him. He’s smart, talented and a very handsome man who speaks his mind and doesn’t play mind games. He’s been scorned before, but he’s a man that speaks his mind and goes after what he wants.

The chemistry between these two is mind blowing. Their tenacity to get what they want keeps the story entertaining. The plot was convincing and fulfilling. It was actually hard to put this book down and was read in one day. The secondary characters played a significant role in bringing a nice family setting. The Eatons, Rice and Tuckers believe in unconditional love and this made the story believable.
Ms. Alers connected her characters and the plot well. Her talent truly shows in this novel. I commend her on an excellent read and would definitely recommend reading this book. It’s a series about the Eaton’s. I recommend starting with: Bittersweet Love, Sweet Deception and then Sweet Dreams. You won’t be disappointed.
