SYNOPSIS: The moment ex-Texas Ranger Clint Westmoreland learned he was still married, he set the limits for his wife's stay at his luxurious horse ranch. But when she arrived, Clint's boundaries began to blur. He and Alyssa Barkley had thirty days to untangle the legal knot that had bound them together during an undercover assignment years before. But this sexy, curvaceous Alyssa was different from the mousy, awestruck rookie agent he remembered. And now her every move had him wondering what it would be like if he really were her man....

SERIES ROMANCE |4| Anamaria Akins

REVIEW:  Arrogant but very sexy ex-Texas Ranger Clint Westmoreland doesn’t have time for a women in his life. Alyssa Barkley has an established life in Waco, Texas as a web designer with no time to be boggled down with a man. When the two learn they are still technically married, and they have to live together under one roof for thirty days. What happens next is a steamy romantic love story that only author Brenda Jackson can give.

The plot as well as the setting (Clint’s ranch, and his joint business in Montana with his cousin Durango and brother-in-law McKinnon Quinn) is very realistic and the flow of the dialogue is proof that the author is outstanding and capable of writing with style and emotion. All of the characters add an overall depth to the story without detracting from each other as well as from the story.

TAMING CLINT WESTMORELAND is a wonderful and entertaining light read. The natural intensity of the story will allow the reader to feel, touch and breath each emotion. I enjoyed this novel and I was able to follow the characters and issues from beginning to end.

Ms. Jackson has created another memorable addition to a series that continues to delight. I recommend it to others.
