REVIEW:
Love with happiness
is often an elusive dream that many die without finding. Renee Goodchild and
Trent Skinner ‘s romance resulted from a scandal created by his adulterous
cousin and her whorish childhood friend. Overcoming lies and deceit, and holding
on to true love proves to be a challenge that both must determine if it worth
holding on to.
Renee Goodchild, successful interior designer, is stunningly beautiful with her
cat eyes and Mohawk. Her work ethics and naivety almost costs her life, when she
allows her manipulative, look-a-like friend to share her apartment. Moving from
Pittsburgh to New York City to pursue her career has proven exceedingly
rewardingl for Renee. Her past loyalty and admiration of Angela Simpson haunts
her as she provides shelter for the manipulative stranger she can no longer
trust.
She finds herself enmeshed in a nightmare that forces her to hide out in
Greenwich, Connecticut with Trent. Her lack of complete openness and honesty
could cost her freedom, happiness, love, and romance.
Trent Skinner, former Jamaican policeman turned investment banker, has wealth,
brains, and good looks. His attempt to save his family from scandal by seducing
Renee backfires when he falls for the modest, innocent beauty.
Set in Manhattan, this beautiful love story smoothly flows into the lives of
diverse characters. TEMPTED TO TOUCH is a fast paced, well-developed, sensual
love story that focuses on the challenges of commitment to family and friends by
characters with strong personalities. Support and protection are themes that are
wrought with flaws.
Sophia Shaw is a talented writer with an exceptionally rich sense of sensual
characterization that takes the reader into the heart of the matter. TEMPTED TO
TOUCH is a masterful integration of sensuality, mayhem, gold digging, and
manipulation that I enjoyed and recommend reading.
