December 2009

SYNOPSIS: After a fire forces former model Loren Smith under her best friend's roof, the last person she expects to room with is sexy private investigator Robinson Hood.

SERIES ROMANCE |4| Keren Childers

REVIEW:  Loren Smith has a new career as a chef after a brutally attacked by her ex-boyfriend ended her modeling career. Loren went into hiding and vowed to never trust a man again. Staying at her best friend’s house after her apartment catches on fire, she runs into Rob Hood of Hood Investigations. This wasn’t their first encounter with each other, and it doesn’t seem to be their last either.

With THE PERFECT SEDUCTION, Ms. Greene introduces the first book of the Kimani Hotties. The main characters are courageous, talented and stubborn. Loren Smith has survived the most tragic attack of her life, yet she still tries to be strong. Being scarred by an ex-boyfriend couldn’t possibly be easy to cope with. Loren is beautiful, talented and a caring person who has some serious emotional issues. I admire her tenacity to survive. Rob Hood is every woman’s dream man. He’s handsome, owns his own business and is quick to help a damsel in distress. Rob has some issues of his own, but you couldn’t ask for a better man.

The plot is entertaining, but moved a little too slow for me at first. It picks up mid-point and I found myself enjoying the story. The chemistry between Loren and Rob could not be denied. The secondary characters definitely would be the Hood family and Loren’s best friend Zoe. They brought unconditional love, twist and turns throughout this story.

Overall, Ms. Green did a good job and I would recommend reading
THE PERFECT SEDUCTION. Check out the Kimani Hotties each month, and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
