REVIEW:  Bianca Coltrane has always believed in using her assets to get anything she’s ever wanted. But when her younger boyfriend puts her out on the street in favor of a younger version after her boutique is vandalized, Bianca finds herself penniless and homeless. With no one to blame but herself, Bianca swallows her pride and contacts her estranged sister for help, while swearing off of men and learning to stand on her own. Her sister Julia believes that Bianca will be fine once she meets the “right” man.

Haru “Harry” Jordan is the older brother of Akemi and owner of Neo Tech, an internationally known security company. Harry has avoided a serious relationship after having his heart broken. Akemi, like Julia, believes that Harry and Bianca are made for each other, so they set out to make sure it happens.

WAYWARD DREAMS is set in Atlanta with a moderately paced storyline that catches up with Bianca several years after DREAM KEEPER, when she realized that A. J. Yarbrough would never be her man again. The characters in WAYWARD DREAMS help provide intrigue and suspense while learning who to trust and making decisions that will affect the rest of their lives. I enjoyed seeing Bianca finally grow into the woman she was always meant to be while Harry learned that material success means nothing without someone to love.

Ms. McFarland has written an entertaining love story with the right amount of suspense to keep you wondering. I enjoyed it.
