Emma does find love and a new life but in her quest to live the perfect life, she has to hide her past. Her actions come back to tear down her story book life and cause extraordinary pain to the man she loves. So many people can be hurt and affected by keeping in things that are life changing such as rape, incest and utter heartbreak. If this story teaches the reader anything, it is that-it’s never too late to tell the people you love what has hurt you the most.
